TourBox NEO Custom Auxiliary Keyboard for Digital Creators and Video Editors
The TourBox NEO is a purpose-built auxiliary keyboard designed to accelerate your creative workflow. Whether you are editing video, retouching images, or working in digital illustration, this compact controller puts your most-used shortcuts at your fingertips. By reducing repetitive mouse movements and menu navigation, it helps you maintain focus and speed during demanding projects. The device connects via USB for straightforward plug-and-play setup, with no complicated installation required. Its compact dimensions of 148mm by 198mm mean it fits neatly alongside your existing keyboard without taking up excessive desk space.
Features and Construction
The TourBox NEO combines thoughtful design with practical materials to deliver a reliable tool for everyday creative work. Its layout is optimised for common editing commands, giving you tactile control over functions like timeline navigation, brush size adjustment, and layer management.
Material and Build
The housing is constructed from PC+ABS plastic, a material chosen for its balance of strength and light weight. This makes the controller sturdy enough for regular use while remaining easy to move or pack into a bag. The surface finish is smooth to the touch, and the overall build feels solid without being heavy.
Size and Practical Fit
Measuring 148mm in width and 198mm in length, the TourBox NEO has a footprint similar to a small keyboard or trackpad. This size allows it to sit comfortably to the side of your main keyboard, within easy reach of your primary hand. Its slim profile means it does not obstruct other peripherals or clutter your workspace.
Uses and Placement
The TourBox NEO is most effective when used in combination with a standard keyboard and mouse. It complements existing input devices by handling shortcut-heavy tasks, freeing up your primary keyboard for text entry and navigation.
Professional Editing Workflows
Video editors using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve can assign frequently used tools and timeline commands to the controller. This reduces the need to memorise complex keyboard shortcuts or reach across the desk for menu items. Photographers and digital artists working in Lightroom or Photoshop also benefit from direct access to adjustment sliders and brush controls.
Everyday Creative Use
For content creators who spend long hours editing, this controller helps reduce physical strain by minimising repetitive mouse clicks. Simple tasks such as zooming, scrubbing through timelines, or adjusting colour values become more fluid with dedicated physical controls. The device is equally useful for hobbyists who want a more tactile editing experience.
Benefits and Buying Value
The TourBox NEO offers a practical upgrade for anyone who spends significant time in creative software. Its dedicated shortcut control can help improve editing speed and reduce frustration during repetitive tasks.
Easy Setup and Low Maintenance
With USB connectivity, the controller is ready to use as soon as it is plugged in. No additional power supply or wireless pairing is required. The durable PC+ABS construction means it can withstand the daily wear of an active desk environment with minimal care needed.
Why Choose This Model
Compared to generic macro keypads, the TourBox NEO is specifically designed for creative applications, with a layout and button feel that suits digital editing workflows. Its compact size and multiple colour options allow you to choose a version that matches your setup or personal style. The inclusion of a USB cable in the package means you have everything needed to get started immediately.
