Racing GTS V4 2207 Motor for 5-inch FPV Crossing Machine Drones

The Racing GTS V4 2207 brushless motor is engineered for high-performance FPV crossing machines and 5-inch racing drones. Available in two KV versions, it provides the thrust and durability required for competitive flying, freestyle tricks, and aggressive manoeuvres. This motor suits pilots building or upgrading their quadcopter who need a reliable powerplant with straightforward mounting. The package includes essential hardware for installation, making it a practical choice for drone enthusiasts.

Features and Construction

This motor is built to meet the demands of FPV racing and freestyle flying. Its specifications cater to different pilot preferences through KV selection, while the included hardware simplifies installation.

KV Variations

Choose between 2040KV and 1960KV windings. The higher 2040KV offers increased RPM for top speed on lighter builds, while the 1960KV provides more torque for heavier setups or smooth low-end control. Both options are suited for 5-inch propellers.

Build and Dimensions

The motor has a 2207 stator size (22mm diameter, 7mm height), a common form factor for 5-inch racing drones. It comes in two colour finishes: black gold and silver powder, each with a metallic appearance.

Included Hardware

Each motor ships with 4 M3 screws for mounting, plus two stickers. The packaging box ensures safe transit. No additional adaptors or connectors are included.

Uses and Placement

This motor is designed for multirotor aircraft, specifically FPV crossing machines and racing drones that use 5-inch propellers. Its KV range makes it compatible with standard 4S or 6S LiPo setups depending on pilot preference.

FPV Racing

For racing applications, the motor delivers the acceleration and top-end speed needed on race courses. The 2040KV variant is popular for lighter racing frames where every gram counts.

Freestyle Flying

Freestyle pilots benefit from the torque of the 1960KV version, which offers smoother control during flips, rolls, and dives. The motor's construction helps maintain consistent performance through rapid throttle changes.

Build Integration

The motor mounts directly to standard 16x19mm hole patterns found on most 5-inch drone arms. The included M3 screws fit common motor mounting templates, reducing the need for additional hardware purchases.

Benefits and Buying Value

Choosing the right KV for your flying style is the primary benefit of this motor. The option between 2040KV and 1960KV allows you to tailor power delivery without changing motor size.

Simple Installation

The inclusion of mounting screws and a protective box reduces hassle during build or replacement. No specialist tools are required beyond a screwdriver and basic soldering equipment for ESC connection.

Why Choose This Product

If you are building or upgrading a 5-inch FPV racing or freestyle drone, this motor provides a balanced combination of size, KV options, and build quality. It is a straightforward replacement for worn-out motors or a foundation for a new build.
