Pet Grooming Cape for Easy Dog and Cat Hair Catcher Tent - Waterproof Polyester Gray 70cm Adjustable

Grooming your pet at home often leads to loose hair spreading across the room, sticking to furniture and clothing. This pet grooming cape is designed as a hair catcher tent, containing shed fur within the cape while you trim, shave, or clip your dog or cat. The waterproof polyester material prevents hair from clinging and makes cleaning straightforward. Lightweight at approximately 90g and folding down to a compact packing size of 33 x 33 x 1cm, this cape is practical for home use and portable for travel to the groomer. Available in gray, with a bottom length of 70cm, width of 45cm, and height of 38cm, it offers good coverage for small to medium-sized pets.

Features and Construction

This grooming cape is built around practical design elements that simplify the pet grooming process. The materials and sizing work together to provide effective hair containment and ease of use.

Material and Build

The cape is made from durable polyester, a material that offers strength and waterproof properties. This construction helps prevent pet hair from embedding into the fabric, so you can wipe or rinse off loose fur after use. The lightweight design at only 90g reduces strain on your pet during grooming sessions.

Size and Practical Fit

The cape measures 70cm at the bottom length, 45cm in width, and 38cm in height. These dimensions provide ample coverage for dogs and cats of small to medium size, helping to catch hair from the neck, chest, and back. The compact folded packing size of 33 x 33 x 1cm means it can be stored in a drawer or carried in a grooming bag without taking up much space.

Uses and Placement

Whether you are a professional groomer or a pet owner trimming at home, this cape adapts to different grooming scenarios. Its design focuses on containing hair in everyday environments.

Event or Professional Use

For professional groomers, the cape helps manage hair clippings during multiple appointments in a salon setting. The waterproof polyester minimises cross-contamination between pets, as it can be quickly wiped or swapped between sessions. The gray colour hides light stains between washes.

Everyday Home Use

At home, use this cape during routine brushing or seasonal shedding to keep loose hair off your sofa, carpet, and lap. The adjustable neckline helps create a snug fit around the pet's neck, reducing hair escape. After grooming, simply gather the cape and dispose of the trapped hair before cleaning the fabric.

Benefits and Buying Value

Practical benefits make this cape a useful addition to any grooming toolkit. Its reuse and low-maintenance features add everyday value.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Because the polyester material resists water and hair adhesion, the cape can be reused many times with minimal upkeep. Wipe it down after each session or machine wash it on a gentle cycle as needed. The lightweight construction also dries quickly, so it is ready for the next use.
